So I really had my eyes on one of those Ducti duct tape wallets I posted the other day, but decided to look around at all of my options. Now I just don’t know what to do…

Should I get this first one from Used Rubber USA? It’s made out of recycled tire rubber. Looks pretty sweet and keeps a little bit of rubber out of a landfill somewhere. A definite maybe.

Or should I go with the super sleek, minimal style of The Jimi? It’s small, translucent and has just enough space for a small amount of cash and a few cards. That’s all I’ve got anyway… I think I like it.

Or should I go for the punk rock style of this plaid one at Sunset Star? It’s… well, it’s just punk. Does it need anything else going for it? Fuck no it doesn’t!

And last, but definitely not last on the list is this one of these from Poketo. They’ve got artwork from the great (but a bit disturbing) Luke Chueh on ‘em. Yeah, this is the one… I think. (sigh)

    I wouldn’t recommend the Jimi. I got one and it makes for a poor wallet replacement. It’s just as big as a wallet without the “give” of leather, cloth or canvas. I expected it to be a small, sorta bring-it-to-a-club/bar type wallet replacement but instead it’s just a gimmick - and a large plastic one at that.

    But if you want a really cool looking, minimalist wallet, it’s perfect. I didn’t realize how much useless stuff I carried around until I got my JIMI.

    Everytime I pay for something the clerk asks me where I got my cool wallet.

    I think the best colors are Safety and Clear.

    If it had a clip on it it would be a lot more useful to wear with mesh shorts.

    But, I will say that it is cool looking and a good conversation piece.
