Parisian absinthe makers LaFée apparently still make the real deal absinthe. Check out their warning: “Both alcohol and thujone are drugs, and as such, we recommend that you drink absinthe in moderation. In short, wormwood offers an experience other than simply just becoming drunk, but is not comparable to the effects of a potent hallucinogen such as LSD.” Sounds more like a selling point than a warning, but maybe it’s just me…
Ship to the US?… “The regulations regarding shipping from the UK are complicated to say the least. We currently believe that it is legal to possess, drink and import absinthe for personal consumption.” Nice. Go get yourself some of the green fairy… or just get one of their tees if you’re too scared to buy a bottle. They’ve got several cool designs.
