Save the music!

Alright, so Hurricane Katrina doesn’t really seem to be the top headline anymore, but New Orleans is still fucked. I guess by now everyone has seen the sold out Threadless charity tee, the Mule Design charity tee (but personally, I’d rather get the George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People tee from Mule), but to me, when I think of my time spent in New Orleans the one thing that comes to mind (besides sex shops, excellent food, drinking in the streets and voodoo) is music. So when I saw this tee from Ropeadope benefitting the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund, with it’s simply yet clever design, I had to give it a plug. So have a happy Monday (sorry we were gone all weekend), do something good for all the displaced musicians in New Orleans and get a nice tee all at the same time. It’s only 20 bucks, c’mon.
Ropeadope also has some other charity tees if you’re looking to help others but get something in return (cheap bastard!) They’ve got a “Drug Dealer” tee that helps provide medicine to children and families in Africa with AIDS, but I’m not sure I’d really like to walk around with a tee that just says “Drug Dealer” on it though… but whatever. Maybe you do, I dunno.
