Awesome Icelandic T-shirt
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 9:05Eureka! I found it and all that shit. I tracked down the world’s best Icelandic teeshirt as my first pick on the T-shirt world tour.
This is a magic tee and I mean that most sincerely. It’s a version of the runic symbol Ægishjalmur which means Helm of Awe, and that is the word for headgear that surrounds the wearer and enables him to terrify and subdue his enemies. Bring it on!
To get the tee shirt to work, Nordic Store say you have to chant names of the ancient gods while carving this symbol into a bit of wood or stone and burning a herb … oh yeah, those old Icelanders knew how to have fun! And that alone is enough awe to get Iceland back on my list of great places, so if you have any spare moolah, invest in an Ægishjalmur T-shirt, subdue your enemies, and help Iceland get off the bankruptcy list! While you’re there, if you like that sort of thing, Nordic Store can sell you some dried fish bites in a bag too.
