Okay, it’s been a while since we did a ‘Tee for the Mothers’ slot and as I seem to know a lot of Mothers In Waiting right now (and, come to think of it, as most of them visited the office last year when Mikey was around … nah, that’s gotta be a coincidence right?) I was forcibly reminded (the old large and pregnant lady yammering in your ear while sitting on your desk cos your chair’s not big enough for her any more approach) that we are due to feature a maternity T-shirt again.

And so this is my pick. At $22.99 it’s not the cheapest tee on the block but every little bump is worth it, right? And given how easily motherhood seems to drive women into the cute zone, I think anything that reminds those around them that this is a person with brains, who simply happens to be incubating another person who will have a brain, even if that’s not obvious in the first couple of years, (have I lost track of this sentence, surely I have!) is a good thing. (Whew, excellent recovery there)

Think Geek are never flashy, they don’t do splashy, and sometimes the geek joke wears a leeeetle bit thin, but then they produce an idea as elegant as this neatly executed T-shirt and I forgive them all their nerdiness.
