More bees please T-shirt

Never let it be said that I ignore a call for help. If you share an office with a tree hugger, you can’t help hearing about everything from the agony of plankton through to the pain of tectonic plates or whatever. But some problems are worth trying to solve. The designer of this T-shirt at Café Press says, “Many people are unaware that honeybees are suffering from a crisis, CCD. The products and designs in this shop were created by me to raise money for CCD research and help honeybees.”
So CCD is Colony Collapse Disorder and what happens is that the bees just die. No warning, no nothing, just a wiped-out hive. And if you like honey, or bees, that’s pretty sad, but if you want to live, it’s something to worry about because apparently, without all the little stripy buggers getting their faces into different flowers, we won’t have much to eat.
This is a solid Hanes T-shirt with long sleeves and ribbed cuffs, so it’s a little bit more formal than some long-sleeved tees, and because it has a solid message about being a planet-saver, buying local and generally looking after the bee population, it’s bound to impress everybody with your great environmental credentials. What I like is the design, while the text is pretty bland, the bee image with the honeycells behind it is nicely crisp and not cutesy.
