Banksy v Bristol Museum is something new in the world of modern art. Or possibly in the world of modern anti-social behaviour, depending on whether you think Banksy is an urban genius or a property-defacing miscreant. Whatever you think, the elusive graffiti maestro has taken over Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery and filled it with 100 works of art including animatronics, installations, graffiti and sculptures and it’s free to enter until 31 August 2009.

banksy Best of British T shirtCan’t make it? Bad luck. Second best is this cocky little Banksy homage from A-non Clothing Company. The Yellow Lines T-shirt shows the double yellow parking lines running from the road up the side of the Bethnal Green Working Mens Club to create a massive flower. To one side of the flower, life-sized on the actual building, is a realistically painted bloke with a dripping yellow paint roller. The spot on the other side of the flower has become a dead favourite for Big Issue sellers, btw, who reckon they sell twice as many there as on any other pitch.

The T-shirt is 100% Cotton £22 including P&P and does a good job of giving you your very own Banksy to display.
