Coolest T-shirt

Worn Free have one aim in life – to resurrect the coolest T-shirts of all time. How do they do this? They take cool people and the T-shirts they’ve worn, and reproduce them (the T-shirts, I mean, not the people, although that could be fun). No tacky celebs for them – just genuine stars and bone-fide geniuses (genii?)

Whatever – my pick for this day is the very cool T-shirt as sported by queen of cool Debbie Harry in 1977. And it turns out that ‘The Bluejackets’ Manual’ is the Navy’s reference book of basic sailor’s information – who’d a thunk it?
camp bluejacketsAnyway, Ms Harry wore hers with a pink beret (could it be a raspberry beret?) but you could wear yours with anything you like, just about. Not the cheapest tees in the world but they come with the added glamour of cool … and if Debbie doesn’t float your boat you can choose teeshirts worn by: John Lennon, Joey Ramone, Frank Zappa, Joan Jett and Kurt Cobain (bet that last one could be pretty grungy though).

What about having this design on a classic black/white striped sailor t shirt or on an urban camouflage t shirt – it will make the theme of the t shirt shine out – reinvent the tee shirt
