Meh, meh, not meh T-shirt
Saturday, August 1, 2009 9:08Some weeks you go through the offerings and say meh. Meh, meh, meh. Summer brings out the boringly average in T-shirt designs, as if people say ‘hey, the sun is shining, everybody has to wear a Tee, so let’s schlep out some schlock, they won’t care because they’ve got to put something on their backs’. Which results in some pretty shoddy clothing, let me tell you.
So this was a meh week. A whole week where nothing grabbed me except another member of the Teejunkie team forcing me by the scruff of my neck to clear enough space on my desk so you could see there was actually a desk.
Meh.

And then this from Detroit based collective, Simplified. What is it with T-shirt designers and collectives, btw? It’s like they see themselves as some weird urban hark back to the proletariat. Still, who cares, if they produce work like this. It’s a stunning design that makes good use of the simple lines of a T-shirt to produce a genuinely graphic image. Bloody brilliant. Definitely not meh. Almost worth having to work a Saturday for.
Almost.

Love the design but the air craft needs to go all they way, what about the back as well so we can full over print effect?
