Vivienne Westwood ‘worn on the street’ T-shirt

Okay so when the weather is good, you get out there, right? Today has been blistering hot, so I knew that if I got down by the sea, I would find some pretty damn good T-shirts being worn. And whatever anybody else says, I didn’t just want an excuse to get out of the office on the hottest day of the year. Dedicated to my work, that’s what I am. Dedicated.
First up, and definitely foremost in the style parade, was this chap wearing a Vivienne Westwood T-shirt. It takes a certain amount of something which could be chutzpah, or maybe money, or even devotion to the cause of fashion to strut the seafront in a bunch of roses if you’re a bloke, but this one pulled it off in style, possibly because he has muscles like a very muscly thing! He also had an empty pushchair – d’you reckon he got a bit peckish and ate the baby?
Anyway, he was a diamond to take part in ‘worn on the street’ and I am not just saying that cos I’m likely to bump into him again.
Vivienne Westwood, name to conjure with and all that Queen of Punk stuff – obviously still producing the goods three decades after punk got started. Excellent design this one, and there’s an equally good orange tree T-shirt in the autumn/winter collection online. A Westwood tee will set you back a cool £100 if you’re a man, slightly less if you’re an ankle-biter, but they are classic, they are cool and they do last for an extremely long time.
Post by Mikey who quite fancies having a rose named after him one day …
