Apocalypse Now T-shirt

Tonic got in touch to tell us they have a summer sale on. Sadly, they have only two women’s T-shirts, one of which, the ‘Brucie’ we’ve covered before (I can’t help feeling that there’s some kind of discrimination going on here, ten male to two female Tees) so I was a little bummed out.
Then I found this faintly menacing homage to Frances Ford Coppola’s iconic film. Tonic say it’s ethically sourced, which is ironic, given the lack of ethics portrayed in the film it pays tribute to, but it’s a really nice fall/winter T-shirt, in silver-gray, with a simple helicopter motif. It’s classed as male, but it comes in a small which would fit many women, I think.
I know you only want to know about the sale, so the skinny is that it’s 25% off Tonic items with free worldwide delivery – but not by helicopter gunship, I don’t suppose (although that could be fun, in a freaky way). And I’ve just worked out why there are only two women’s tees and ten men’s. It’s because women wear and wash and men only wash when all the T-shirts have been worn!
Post by Kay, who could have been a Top Gun, if it weren’t for a small matter of gender …
