The Thriving Ink V-neck T-shirt

We’re having the debate again. Can it ever be acceptable for a heterosexual male to wear a V-neck? She says yes, sometimes. I say no, never.
The V necked teeshirt was designed for women, is best worn by women and does not appeal to women when seen on the male of the species – especially if the male has moobs.
As evidence, I give you this brilliant design for females, from Thriving Ink. It makes the most of the teeshirt and the most of the model wearing it. It’s not slutty but it gives you a very clear sense of the way that the lady rounds out the design, right? Okay, it costs $24 all but pennies, but worth the lot, you’d have to agree.
The clear point of this tee is that the design works with the female form in a very subtle way, to contour the image and to balance the curvier womanly shape by offering a strong close-to-vertical neckline that lengthens the neck. And of course it does naturally draw the eye down to the design, which is very pleasing.
On the other hand, the V-neck, when worn by a man, just looks like he got out of bed in a hurry and grabbed something of his mum’s to put on and run to the shop. Seriously it does. Even the best V-neck design looks bad on a bloke. Want proof? Well Thriving Ink are kind enough to provide it. Even the price = $10 can’t redeem this silly looking bloke from appearing to have left the house in something his gran bought in Benidorm to wear after her shoulders got sunburnt.
Nuff said?
