Is it possible to get a well-designed Halloween T-shirt?
If you look around, you’ll decide the answer is no. There is so much pumpkin headed, witch on a broomstick style dreck out there that it’s depressing. What is it about major festivals and fun that draws all the lousy designers out of their hiding places to inflict their rubbish on us? Oh yeah, it’s the chance to get our money … how stupid of me.
But if you hunt them down, there are good tees out there. I’m impressed by The Horde for three reasons. One, it’s a modern take on the Halloween theme, two, the colourways are brilliant and three, it’s good enough to wear all year round, which makes it a bargain.
I will bet you now that a dozen manky Michael Jackon costumed idiots wander down my street this evening, shoving out their gloved hands for candy, because most people have no imagination.
This T-shirt marks you out from the crowd, and might even score you a sugar high …
