Milk & Eggs Co is a Californian design team who produce T-shirts and buttons. Why buttons? Who knows, but they come in sets of four and are very cute.

If your weather is anything like my weather (and I hope it’s not, as my weather is lousy) then the very thought of Cali is worth entertaining – sunshine, sea, laid-backness. And there’s something very laid back about the Milk & Eggs Co style.

Leaving aside the infuriating T-shirt that says ‘Dont injure yourself’ without an apostrophe (why?) their work is both crisp and calm, a difficult balancing act to pull off. I’m hearting the draw your own way T-shirt because I’ve been talked into produce a sketch every day in November and already I’m realising just how tough it is to do consistently good sketching from life, so moving past sketch into realising good design is quite a task and I have a new admiration for those who do it.

Also, people should wear more red tees in November: red and yellow, anything, in fact, that brightens the day – black should be banned in November because the month is tough enough, right? So crisp image, nice sentiment, bright color – what’s not to like about Milk & Eggs Co (apart from their apostrophe failure, obviously)?
