Cautionary T-shirt from Noisebot
Friday, November 13, 2009 13:54
Yes, today’s word is cautionary, and yes, I am using it (expanding my vocabulary in November seems simple enough, given that other mad folk are writing 50,000 word NaNoWriMo novels this month) in my T-shirt post!
Noisebot has an uncanny knack of finding the funny in the everyday stuff of the world. This hoodie is no exception – it’s a 50% cotton / 50% polyester blend with screen printed image, it’s got a double-lined hood too, which is always nice when the weather’s bad (when is it not bad in November?) Also it has grommets, which I always thought was a cute clay dog from England, until today. So that counts as two new words for me. Grommets are the little metal rings that the drawstrings run through on a hoodie.
And the image here is lovely, it looks like a cross between a burning banshee, and a piece of aboriginal art and I just WOOT. Props to Noisebot for actually producing a hoodie that’s funny and cute.
