Brand New Intention have sweet new T-shirts from Jared Nickerson and to push their collaboration into new promotional kicks, they’re giving away skateboard decks, laser-etched black-books, and random t-shirts to people, chosen at random, who order one of Jared’s tees.

As for those Jared designs, I’m much more in favour of the black on coffee combo than the red on blue, which looks like it could be something that damages the retinas in their early morning fragility, but either way, if you fancy a freebie, you could get goodies with your new T-shirt by gambling on BNI picking your name out of their virtual hat.

Lars Harmsen is editing a book about typography in T-shirt design and culture. Unsurprisingly, the book is called TypoShirt (One) which makes us clever types at teejunkie think that Lars is planning a series.

So, he’s calling for entries – the title will be published by INDEX Books (Barcelona) this very year, and if you have a T-shirt design created explicitly with typographic elements, you might get featured. You get a complimentary copy of the book and, of course, everlasting fame.

Yeah, that got your attention didn’t it? Har de har har. T-shirts for dogs is what we’re on about though, not anything that Premier League footballers might be getting up to in car parks after dark.

If it’s good enough for Paris Hilton and Gerri Halliwell, then … actually, whatever’s good for such celebs should probably be avoided like the plague, but it’s a fact they both have designer pooches which get dressed up like dog’s dinners and K9 which claims to be the UK’s ‘Original Producer of T-shirts for dogs and designer pet accessories’ has the market covered. You see their kit all over the place in dog boutiques (I kid you not) and they sell online too.

And yes, most dogs in a tee (and I’m talking canine here, before anybody gets on my case) look as miserable as sin, but some four legged friends seem to sport their T-shirts with a certain amount of attitude, and if that’s the case, why not let them choose their own? They can be a sniffer dog, a security dog, or ‘barking mad’. But for the dog who knows his business there is, of course, the true fashion grail – the plain white T-shirt!

Here’s some more wallets for ya. The last batch had a couple of winners in there – the Jimi and the Poketo ones for sure, but here’s some more worthy challengers I didn’t mention the first time around… The HunterGatherer one is cool if you’re lookin’ for an old school canvas style wallet, the Freitag ones are, from what I can tell, made out of recycled tarps that cover cargo trucks in Switzerland, the Billy Kirk one available through Henry & Lulu is the priciest of the bunch, but the leather is “hand-rubbed with natural oils and beeswax to soften and protect” and would look oh-so-smooth, coming out of the pocket of your $200 designer jeans… and finally, the Pantone one is a sure hit for creative types, well, I guess mostly us print dudes, not so much web guys…
And of course, how could I have done a proper post about wallets without mentioning probably the most famous wallet of all time? “It’s the one that says Bad Mother Fucker” Okay, so it’s not the most elegant of designer accessories, crafted of fine Italian leather or anything… I’d carry it though.

So my ratty, green Jansport backpack needs to be replaced, but everything I see around is pretty generic or frat-boy-ish, but not this shit. Check out these limited editions from Eastpak. The first one by “Seen” is real cool, but so is the skulls one. I’m usually not too big on skulls, but these kind are alright.

But I’m really leaning towards this red one covered in guns, grenades, hammers, screwdrivers, all kinds of crazy shit… awesome.

Update: Okay, so I guess I should’ve looked where these places would ship to. I guess if you’re in the States, you’re shit outta luck on those. But here’s some other worthy options…
