Could it be you? It could … the nice guys over at Clothes2Order have an amazing contest running. They are looking for designs:

from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the artistic to the humorous, from the most complex to a single word or slogan. The power of Facebook will then be used to see which design gets the most ‘likes’. The design with the most ‘likes’ by 15/06/2012 will win its creator £250. Second and third place will win a free t shirt printed with their design.

Is that not awesome?

To submit your entry simply email it to competition@Clothes2Order.com no later than June 1st.
The winner gets the money and the design helps a charity, Child Poverty Action Group, was the top design will be available for purchase on Clothes2Order.com with 10% of sales of the design going straight to the charity.

I have three reasons to like this brand:

1. Burn Card doesn’t have a cringe-making ‘about’ page where it spouts third-hand philosophy about ‘tee-shirts and like, life’
2. The packaging is up on the stellar end of brilliance – it’s almost worth having the packaging without the T-shirt, so superbly well-presented is the merchandise within the merchandising
3. The T-shirts are good too.

There’s something vaguely Playboy about some of the images: they come over as so honed into a key concept that words are an irrelevance, and I’m not sure how sustainable that is going to be in the long term with such a tight focus, but I’m willing to be surprised.

With free UK delivery at present, Burn Card is going to be top of the wish list for a lot of T-shirt aficionados this Christmas, with very good reason. They also have a monthly competition for those too poor or mean to invest in a T-shirt by the usual route.

Brand New Intention have sweet new T-shirts from Jared Nickerson and to push their collaboration into new promotional kicks, they’re giving away skateboard decks, laser-etched black-books, and random t-shirts to people, chosen at random, who order one of Jared’s tees.

As for those Jared designs, I’m much more in favour of the black on coffee combo than the red on blue, which looks like it could be something that damages the retinas in their early morning fragility, but either way, if you fancy a freebie, you could get goodies with your new T-shirt by gambling on BNI picking your name out of their virtual hat.

I knew that would get you lot in the cheap seats to pay attention!

Okay, listen up. The gals at Crying Wolf have a contest. They’ve got this limited edition tee that they’ll be selling in April and they are giving a free T-shirt with the manky bird on it, to the person who comes up with the best name for the design.

Okay, it’s not America’s Next Top Model, but for short, squinty, fat or otherwise disqualified folk from that contest (like 99% of us, right?) this is your chance to shine.

My own humble opinion is that I wouldn’t wear that T-shirt if you pinned me down and tattooed the design to my screaming, kicking body, but on the other hand, her on the other side of the desk thinks it’s ‘cute’. Which just goes to show that you can’t please more than 50% of the people at any time – not if they work in this office anyway. What she thinks is cute about it I can’t imagine, but I do admire the crackle effect on the ‘pow’ outline. In fact, if you took the punk sparrow or whatever it is out of the picture and just left the blue zigzag, I’d prefer it.

Captain Punk Sparrow – there, I’ve found a name for it. If I’m the winner, send the T-shirt to Kay …
